jaws getting stuck in outlook express

I am using jaws 6.1. I wrote a long message in outlook express today and
tried to proof read it by using the say all function. It would stop after a
few sentences. I do have jaws set to say all without pauses. I tried hitting
insert escape to refresh the screen and still it got stuck. I wonder what
this is.
