jaws and wlm spell check issue

Hello, all. I have a friend using windows live mail 2011 on a 64 win 7
machine. Her spell check does not work, jaws does not say attachment though
her graphics are spoken. To open attachments, she has to tab around in the
message, locate the attachment if she knows what it's been called and
finally open it with a press of the enter key. Does anyone know about this?
