Hi, I have had the same problem with some browser applications I use at work.
When I go to enter text in an edit field, it refreshes the screen and then goes
out of forms mode and I have to navigate back down to the edit field and try
again.
The way I have resolved this is to do the following;
1. Navigate to the web page with the problem.
2. Press SHIFT + INSERT + V to bring up the verbocity settings for that
specific web page.
3. Under general options there is an option which says 'Page Refresh"
4. By default this is set to automaticaly.
5. Change this to "Off"
6. Click OK
You should now find the page wont automaticaly refresh and JAWS will stay in
the edit field.

Hello to the list!
I am using the latest jaws 9 beta on my windows xp pro.
On a webpage with my ie 7 the page is refreshed every 10 seconds and jaws
looses fokus every time. Have others observed the same and where do I go to
correct this.
I have been in jaws configuration manager under html and the misc tab without
any luck.
Any help are apriciated.
