Good evening,

I've noticed this myself. Haven't looked into it, but I expect that the taskbar item for the conversation is flashing in the system highlight colour and that's what JAWS is reading.

Good luck working with that info and please let us know if you figure out a solution.

HTH,
Everett

Subject: jaws 8 and windows live

Heya folks,

I get annoyed when someone sends me a message in windows live messenger and if I'm just away from my PC it repeats for example John says... John says...
John says... For quite awhile to I get to the message its quite annoying
when I'm listening to some music for example, is there a way I can disable
this annoying feature? Ive tried all the Jaws V options for messenger
nothing seems to stop it

Any help would be a preciated

Cheers,

Jim
