Hi,
You are quite wrong this has always needed to be done for the system
tray. Now if it is not done jaws will no longer find options that are
not clickable. So this is a feature and not a bug. Hth

If this behavior wasn't present with earlier versions of Jaws, then it
shouldn't be in version 7. Let's remember, the O/S hasn't changed, just
the screen reader. And I should upgrade because... Ricque

All I had to do to fix this issue in JAWS 7 was to go to the start
button, hit alt enter, and go to the start menu tab. Then I told it to
unhide inactive icons. Then I saw all my items, including JAWS and all
my other stuff that I was not seeing before. It may be something as
simple as that...Don't knock it till you've tried it.
