I don't think so, but, there are bug fixes to MS Office, which are only
available via upgrading.  If you're having any problem with a Word or
Outlook bug, you may want to consider upgrading for that reason.

I don't think the introduction of the new features to the MS Office
programs struck me, when I read about them, as being anything likely to
be important to anyone except in unusual corporate applications.
