Definitely a good idea. it really is a shame that *so* many people think 
that hardware synthesizers don't work anymore, because they still do.  The 
only real problem is that some of them are so damn expensive!!
That's the only real problem. I'm lucky enough to have a dectalk express 
and I love the freedom it gives me.
I can turn my volume up and down til the end of time and JAWS's volume 
stays the same all the time.
