Katherine,

The bottom line to all this is that if MSN eventually requires us to switch
to the Hotmail Live version, we will need to figure out how to access it
with JAWS when using the browser.

If you are accessing Hotmail through Outlook Express, I don't think being
switched to the Hotmail Live version will effect you at all, because you'll
still be able to access hotmail via the JAWS-friendly Outlook Express
interface. But if you ever need to use some other computer that doesn't have
Outlook Express configured to access your Hotmail account, then you will
have to use the browser, and then you'll have problems with accessibility.

A word to the wise:
You should avoid clicking on log-in links in any emails you receive. There
are many crooks using Internet fishing schemes which trick people into
clicking on a link which supposedly takes them to a log-in page for their
online banking, Ebay, paypal account, etc.. These counterfeit web pages look
like the real thing, but they are designed to snitch your passwords so they
can rip you off. If you clicked on a link in that Hotmail message and it
took you to a log-in page for your hotmail account, you may want to change
your password just to be safe.
