Hi,

If you are talking about your friend having to press f1 to continue the =
boot
cycle, it is likely that an error message is popping up saying an error =
has
been detected by the hardware monitor. This happened to my girlfriend's
computer recently. I had to get a mate to go into the bios and go into =
the
hardware monitor settings and set everything to ignore. This will not =
harm
the computer. My girlfriend's computer is running excellently and is =
able
to boot straight through to windows every time now.
