Re: google tool bar?

You can also turn off the Google toolbar without uninstalling it.

1. Press Alt V to bring up the View menu.
2. You will be at the Toolbars option.  It has a sub-menu.
3. Open this sub-menu with right arrow.
4. Press down arrow to get to Google Toolbar.  It will be checked.
5. Press enter to remove the check.

The Google toolbar will no longer show up in Internet Explorer. If you need it again, you don't have to re-install it. You can reverse what I wrote to make the toolbar show up again.
