um not sure how I can make it more clear then I have about clicking a key
twice it mean pressing a key clickly twice.
now in the existing scripts you find hot key help showing every key that can
be used by the scripts every key is named based on the feature of gold wave.
then you can check the gold wave manual for a full explanation on that key
or feature.
not sure why any more documentation by me is needed.
if it comes to rewriting the gold wave manual I am afraid I will abort this
project.
so the hot key help and the gold wave manual will have to do.
that is plenty of documentation.

First, this might sound strange, but what do you mean by click the key
twice? I think the speeds should say faster slower and normal. If you do
write the scripts, please write a slow tedious explanation for using them.

ok guys well as we all know gold wave 5.16 is out as we also know this
version broke the menu id system the scripts use to figure out witch menu
command should be performed by witch key.
any one who has seen this little show stoper for 5.16 as far as the scripts
go need not report it at this point it is fixed. now we got some new
features in this program. so here is what I am thinking about doing.
alt shift v reads the volume control setting. clicking this twice will give
it focus so you can change it.
alt shift b will read the balance setting clicking this twice will move to
it so you can change it.
alt shift p will read the speed the file is playing clicking it twice will
move to it so you can change it.
do you all like this? any one have another idea?
it will also be addid to the status line.
jaws key page down.
the keys j k and l for what ever reason now rewind fastforward and play.
this does not replace the function keys to do this task.
k being play j being rewind and l being fastforward.
I was going to assign these keys the same lable as f4 and f5 and f6.
with of course them doing what they are saposed to do every where else.
do you all like this? any ideas? should I just leave these keys alone as
they already are labled with the function keys?
now we have new marker and selection commands. it is clear what need to be
done with them.
but the speed commands they are really nice being shift j for slower shift k
for returning to normal and shift l for faster. so what do we want to here
when we press thees keys. speed 1.0 speed 0.75
or faster slower and normal, or nothing at all. if nothing then you will
get this when lables are off. what I was going to do is the lable long being
faster slower and normal short being fast slow normal then have it read the
speed indegater. of cours turning off markers will stop the speed reading
and turning off the lables will have the lables not speak.
well now is the time for gold wave users to provide feed back.
