Sorry, I just got to this one now, and if ever someone has addressed this,
pardon my reply but I didn't see it, nor did I see my other post you quoted
below, <grimace>. I performed again the steps I posted and the word "blank"
is still being read by JAWS even if I arrow through text, read by sentence
or word, or do a SayAll. The only possible explanation why your JAWS is
acting that way is if you made a pronunciation dictionary entry for it.
Check both the default and application JDF files and see if there's an entry
for "blank" that causes JAWS not to read the word itself. If so, delete it
and save the modified file. The steps I gave where you go into Customize
Punctuations under the Configuration Manager deals with blank lines only,
not the word "blank" per se.

HTH,
Roselle

Hello:

I no longer have blank lines spoken, but I have another problem. The word
"blank" while reading a sentence is not read to me.

Is there a way to change this problem?

Thank you,

Geraldine
