If you have installed version 1158 unsuccessfully, try this---as recommended by FS, and it worked on our machine:
1. go to help, about JAWS in the current version of Jaws--the bad one; it should still say .525
2. Tab past the okay button to 'special update code' and type in 89003. enter.3. Jaws should go into update mode immediately. Allow JAWS to update; it's maybe a completion of an unsuccessful update of 1158.
