That is very often the case. When the resolution is changed and set, JAWS 
cannot read some screen elements until you either close and re-load JAWS, or 
perhaps even reboot the computer with the new display resolution. Then you 
should be able to read all elements normally.

I will try adjusting the screen resolution.
JAWS doesn't say anything about the screen resolution.
