Hi Hal,
I have got two ways in which you can turn ad shield off when needed. I got
this information from a couple of old messages which was posted to a Jaws
list.
1. When you find a link that needs to open in a separate window you can
temporarily disengage ad shield by:
Put yourself on the link, hit enter, then hit control. Do not hit enter and
control at the same time. Hit enter first, then hit control right after.
2. Another way of disengaging ad shield is by:
I have some websites where I need to turn off ad shield when using the site.
To do this, after you have arrowed down into the page, press the right mouse
button.
Choose ad shield option settings from the context menu (shortcut key S) and
uncheck the boxes that are checked.
Then do the same thing but check them again when you are ready to enable ad
shield again.

Hope this helps you,
Chris Chaffin
