control panel

Hi there,
Is anyone familiar with why whenever I am trying to get into control panel I am
getting this message that the permission is denied by administrator whereas I
am myself the administrator in windows 7 and latest jaws?
How can I fix that because I want to go to add and remove programs but it seems
I could not get there.
Any help will be much appreciated.
