Oh my word, your cat is crazy grin. Now why would you waste time buttering a
cat's back when this is supposed to be a joke.
If cats always land on their feet and buttered toast always lands buttered side
down, what happens if you dropped a cat that was connected to the buttered
toast?

First, forget connecting the toast to the cat; simply butter the cat's back
and drop the cat.

Second, my eldest cat has a JAWS fixation too. I've started keeping one of
those carpeted cat towers next to my computer chair, so Little Miss has
somewhere to lounge (My lap is occupied by the pull-out keyboard). The ferrets
also find JAWS interesting; they continue to attack the speakers, whenever I
have one sitting with me on the computer (They can fit in my lap with the
pull-out keyboard).

JAWS definitely provides humor that was an accident of design.
