can't complete defragmentation

Hi friends,
I don't know what happened today to my system.
I tried to defrag my win xp pro system and I get a message that file which its
name is:
c:\documents and settings\moti\recent\e is corrupt and therefore the computer
can't complete the defragmenatation.
I tyried to delete it, but it comes again.
What can I do to solve this problem' please?
