Hi it sounds like you have your favourite checked in the explorer bar menu.
1, go desktop, internet explorer, enter. alt V for view, down arrow to
explorer bar menu, right arrow to open, down arrow, you will probably hear
favourites checked, press enter to uncheck it. now things should be back to
normal.
