Hi DaveI made updates to both the java platform as well as the newest Java Access Bridge (2.1).
Just to let you know, I'm using a xp machine at work.I'm also in touch with the developers of the new system, so hopefully between myself, the developers and FS, we'll be able to start ironing this out.
What other files should I look for to make sure all is up to date?----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave Carlson" <dgcarlson@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Bill, You may need to update your J Initiator file or some of the other Access Bridge components. Check the Sun web site to see if they can help with accessibility to the new Oracle interface. A few months ago it was announced that we would be upgrading our database system. We use an oricle system with an EI#7 interace. The prevous system, I had no problems with using Jaws 10.0 with the EI#6 interface. however, when the upgrade finally took place last Friday, Jaws 10.0 did not work very well and we had to upgrade to 11.0. this system was to be put in place back in March, but due to the usualy delays in the project things got put on hold including me checking out the new system to make sure such problems were minamized before the actual launch. Now that everything is in place, it seems to work fine for the most part except for a couple of things. i create dispatch tickets for my company which means I have to choose from certain otehr pages in the system, highlight and click on them to populate on the main ticket. It used to be I was able to press the enter key to make this happen but now it does not work. I've tried the mouse key as well as the bypass function but no good. So now to my question; what other keystrokes can I try that tech support may not have told me yet? Also, has anyone else out out there been through such a change in thier work place where it sevierly impacted thier production level. How was this handled and what was the out come? I aprpeciate any helpful hints anyone can pass my way. -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/ Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.com JFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
