Xp or classic display

Is there a reason for Jaws to use the classic display settings? Or to put
it another way: Is it perfectly fine, according to jaws, to stay with the
xp layout style?
I realize that changing how folder, mouse clicks and new windows open up,
should be changed, but how about the rest.
For example: open in same window is much better than layering.

Is there anyone out there who has not changed to 98/classic style?

I'm using xp pro and home with jaws 5.0.844

Thank you for answering.
