Hi Anthony,

You could have emailed Francis directly, off list with this request.  this 
way, you're making it necessary for him to capture or copy your address from 
the posted message, where it might have been nicer for you to obtain his 
address this way so he could be able to reply automatically to you.

If you don't know how to copy or capture the address of an individual poster 
to an email list, just ask, and it'll be easy to explain.
