RE: Word 2000

Boris,

This sounds like it is your paragraph format setup.  To change it, open the
Format menu and choose Paragraph, then Tab around the Indents and Spacing
page of the dialog until you get to two spin boxes labelled "Spacing before"
and "Spacing after".  You'll probably find one or both of these are set to
something other than zero; either use your up or down arrow keys to change
each to zero, or just type 0 in the control, then OK out of the dialog.

If this is happening on all your documents, you'll need to make the above
change in the template you use.
