Hi
This is purely a windows issue, it's not strictly related to JAWS.
Sounds like a program on your computer might be infected and the only way to fix it is to run some kind of antivirus program and that will hopefully get rid of the problem. Again this isn't really related to JAWS itself. It'd happen no matter what because it's in windows itself.

Hi David,
I Googled win.exe and there is a lot of info regarding this file. Leave it to Google to dig up stuff. It appears to have something to do with a trojan virus. A little research will probably help you.
Good Luck,
Roger

Subject: strange message

Hi folks,

I have win xp home, jfw latest and keep getting a message on start up saying this.

Win.exe has encountered a problem and a report has been created to send to Microsoft.

I have sent this message a number of times and nothing happens.

Does anyone know what I am talking about?

David
