Hi all, I've been running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit since December with Jaws 11 Pro and am very pleased with it. It runs all the older 32 bit apps flawlessly so far. If you activate the search box and type System Info in Win 7 you can find out the following sort of detail about your particular system and then some. OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Professional System Type x64-based PC Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz, 2668 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 9.00 GB Total Physical Memory 8.99 GB Available Physical Memory 6.23 GB Total Virtual Memory 18.0 GB Available Virtual Memory 15.1 GB Cordially, Richard P. Indeed I used 64 bit for a few months. Yes, I had major problems with JAWS and in fact other screen readers. Whenever I used Windows Explorer at some random point it would stop responding and it had to close. It caused my screen reader to lock up and all that. As it was Windows Explorer I thought the problem was so serious that this is the reason I went back to 32 bit. I do not know if later versions of screen readers has this fixed. So sorry about that. Hope you have better luck with a 64 bit OS than me. From Chris H in Derbyshire Please check out my blog at http://chrishallsworth.klangoblog.net. Many thanks.
