Don't know that winzip really comes with winxp home but here's how I make it
work. When you get prompted for the lisence, use your right or left arro to
find the use evaluation version button. When you find that button, you must
activate it with the spacebar, not enter. Once winzip opens, it is farely easy
to use and all the menus read. There are some other command-line compression
utilities you can use that I could mention if you find winzip to difficult.

Subject: Win Zip with XP Home

I am back to using JAWS 4.5 since 5.0 would not work on my system for
complex reasons which took 5 hours to figure out today. It seems as though
Win Zip was installed on my computer with XP Home as its operating system. I
find difficulty using the installed Win Zip program with its constant
licensing agreement, if for no other reason, which I understand does not
appear in the version bundled with XP. How can I use the XP version of Win
Zip instead of the free-standing program? If it were you, what would you do
to disable this separate Win Zip program so that I could use the Win Zip
that comes with XP Home?
thanks very much for your guidance.
