if she has a dsl account, she most likely already has access to it via the
web. The trouble with those free email services is that they send you a lot
of junk.

I am a sighted volunteer with average computer experience helping a blind
friend, Gennie, using JAWS.
Her daughter has a DSL account on their home computer with the local
ISP. She has JAWS 5.0 installed .
Gennie is a teacher and has an Internet connection in her classroom. We
were able to install JAWS on her classroom computer.
I suggested she set up a web based mail program on both computers and but
need some advice.
1. Does Yahoo or hotmail work best with JAWS?
2. Can someone gives us a list of the most common keystrokes that will be
needed.
For example, after going to www.yahoo.com, what is the easiest way to get
to "check mail", "compose mail", "send mail" and to the "in box".?
