Jaws isn't automatically talkative on this point, but, once you specify
the people and the appointment date/time, there's a line on the top of
the screen, just under the menu, which tells you if anyone has a known
conflict; you can reach this line with the jaws cursor.; if there are no
conflicts it just tells you that invitations have not yet been sent

I don't know all the capabilities of jaws even now, but under windows
bridge you could have told it to automatically watch this line and speak
it if it changed; maybe jaws has the same feature? We'll see if anyone
knows about that.

There's another way of going about it; you can tell outlook who you
want, and ask it to pick a meeting time when everyone is available and
it will present you with the first meeting time it finds. You can then
keep going through the next and the next and so on until you arrive at
one you like. It takes into consideration the specified work schedule
for each person, so it's not going to schedule a meeting on a weekend or
at midnight or anything, so you can always try the :"schedule a meeting"
function to see if that's what you need.

Chip
