Which version of word? Are your display settings set to the recommended settings posted at the jfwlite site or found in the jaws help system? Did you try changing your screen resolution? Did you run the display chaining manager for jaws and install jaws into the other display? That last part is only necessary if you have two devices for video showing up under the device manager. Now that I've said all that I have one problem with word to tack on. Jaws stops including braille support after I load a document. It acts like it's frozen, but alt-tabbing away then back again gets jaws to properly speak again. Any one else noticed this and have a suggestion. I'm sure this happens both when I open the document from explorer or via word first. This is on word 2003. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Grant Hardy" <grant_r_hardy@xxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, March 24, 2005 12:51 PM Subject: Urgent problem in Microsoft Word Hello, I am having display problems with Microsoft word. I can't see the text I'm typing with JAWS-they look like blank lines, even on my braille display. When I use arrows to move through the text, I see it fine--but the instant I start typing it's invisible to JAWS again. Please advise.
