Not really no. Just uninstall and JAWS 8 should work fine, providing you
don't remove the shared components of course. Hope that helps.

1. Open the start menu.
2. Open the All Programmes submenu.
3. Open the JAWS 9 submenu.
4. Open the Tools submenu.
5. Press enter on Uninstall JAWS.
6. In the JAWS uninstall dialogue box, make sure that "uninstall JAWS
only
radio button checked" is heard, and press enter.
7. Follow the instructions in the uninstall. If you wish to preserve your
user settings, choose no, otherwise choose yes. After the uninstall,
reboot
if required.
