Hi 1. Start internet explorer. 2. Press insert figure 6 on the main QWERTY keyboard to bring up the configuration manager. 3. If you want progress messages turned off in all applications rather than just internet explorer, press control shift D, otherwise proceed to step 4. 4. Press alt+S for set options, then press enter on user options which is the first item in focus. 5. The first combo box is the one relating to progress messages. Pres the home key. JAWS will say the word "off". 6. Press enter to close the dialogue box. 7. Press control+S to save the file. 8. Press alt+F4 to exit the configuration manager.
