Yes, I believe so. While the game has focus, hit jaws key plus 6. After the
configuration manager comes up, hit alt plus s, then a. You should land on
the sleep mode checkbox. Check it, and hit enter. Close the configuration
manager to save the settings. To make sure it works, go to another
application, and come back. Jaws should be sleeping.

Hello all, I know how to make Jaws go to sleep when working with a single program. Can a person have Jaws go to sleep while you are working with another program that needs Jaws to be working? Example: I am playing the Jim Kitchen golf game which he recommends that Jaws not be running. At the same time I am in the FTP Program, which needs Jaws. While in there and playing golf against other persons, a person has to alt/tab back to the golf game which does not need Jaws. I hope this does not sound complicated. Can this be done...One program running Jaws and the other not doing so? Thanks, Morey
