Bill, haven't needed to try it myself, but I remembered this thread was on
blind tech a little while ago. So I searched the archives and found the
following message that recommended a program called speed fan. Here is the
part of the message that mentions the link.
Try the below.

I have been using SpeedFan for years.

Subject: Temperature Inside Laptop, Any Program?

Hi all,

Is there a jaws friendly program that will tell me the temperature inside my
laptop? I am running XP Pro. Not sure if there is anything I can get to on
system and read temperature with Jaws that comes standard with XP Pro.

If you do know of a program, what is the name and where can I get?

Thanks for your help.

Bill
