Hi Dennis, I also had this problem when backing up files that I had downloaded from the internet. I got a file that when you access a file it tells you what is in the file as a stream. The extra information is just how IE tags something and was ok to burn to a cd. I would say that you have nothing to worry about. If anyone would like the file wrote me at squirman@xxxxxxxxxx And I will see whay I can do to get it to you. Please include the email address you would like it sent to. The contents of the file will not be affected. Do you want to copy the file anyway? 500 Miles.mp3 Duration: 0:03:11 Type: MP3 audio file (mp3) Bit Rate: 128kbps Protected: No Size: 2.92 MB Yes Skip Cancel Repeat my answer each time this occurs Then when I do an alt+t there is nothing that says what you wrote. If I go to alt+t then o for options & go to rip it does but I'm not ripping a CD. There will be an icon in the system tray that says you have files ready to be written. Click that and then when the window opens, hit alt and hit t for write to CD. Then it will ask what format to write the files in and it should be defaulted to audio. Then just tab to burn and on the next group, tab to start burn and it will do it. If so, Nero is good and so is the Windows media Player.
