The keystroke is at least three years old. I knew it existed, but can never
remember it so I keep an old message on the subject. I did know it is not a
Jaws stroke.

And I have had certain Jaws installations toggle on the showing of those Word
markers. Queer, ain't it?

  GW,

Okay, so I tried that keystroke, and it resolves the problem. However it is
not being reported as a JAWS keystroke. It's a MS-Word keystroke, I guess.

Just to make sure, I went to tools/options/display (Word 2007) and I see
that all these are unchecked, just like I always have them.

Something has changed with JAWS 11.0.1447, since the words "Space marker"
started up right after the install.

Also interesting that the space character changes from ASCII 32 to ASCII 183
when the keystroke toggles. Just what is this keystroke doing, anyways?

  Appreciate the keystroke tip.

  Dave

The key combination to toggle this on and off is control shift numrow 8.

The long way to do it is to go to tools, options and on the view page tab
like crazy until you get to "all" and uncheck it and tab to OK.

      Hi!

Just opened up a new Word document and I seem to be getting stuff like
space markers and paragraph marks read whereas this didn't happen before, so if
anyone can tell me how to silence those things I'd really, really appreciate
it. Thank you.
