Sounds Not Speech

In the grand scheme of things, this is a low priority; however, I've looked
without success for a way to change what happens when Word encounters a
spelling error on the fly. At present, JAWS says "spelling error." I would
prefer that the word with the spelling error be indicated with a user-defined
sound, much in the way forms mode on/off indications work.
I don't think this is possible. If it is, I would like to know.
The on-the-fly spelling error indication can sometimes be handy, but too much
chatter can also be annoying.
