Hi Debbie thanks for writing regarding the scripts I will get them
tonight and try them. I am assuming the go in the jfw\enu folder? Also
could send me your private email as I would like to write regarding the
creation of micro soft out look rules, you helped me once before a year
or so back. However, I recently had a system crash and had to reformat
my drive. Thank you and I hope you are doing okay and continue to do
so. Its great hear you were going some where, I bet your husband wants
you not to spend so much time on the computer, just like my wife wants
me to get off my but too!

Subject: Re: Soul seek scripts

Hi everybody, I only have a second because me and my husband have
something
to go do, so I have to make this quick, smile. I'm supposed to be
walking
out the door right now, ha ha.
But I finally got these mysterious soul seek scripts!
I don't know what was going on, but I couldn't even get them to compile.
So I added the lines needed to compile and fixed up the keystrokes and I
now
have them on JFWLite. Like I say I did this quickly, but you are
welcome to
try them, and if you have problems then I can work on them some more.
How
to use Soul Seek (I myself have now only used it a half a dozen times,
so
I'm by no means an expert.)
Run SoulSeek.
Now I get a message about ports, I just enter and ignore it, I still get

results.
Sometimes I have to go to the menu with the alt key, arrow over once to
connection and enter on connect, sometimes I don't, I don't know why.
Anyway, here we go.
If you press control S, you should be placed in the search field.
Type your search word and enter.
Tab to the listview.
I find that I have to arrow down once and then back up to hear the first

result.
Then I can just arrow up and down as usual.
While in the listview, press alt C for the context menu and you can
enter on
download or arrow down to review the other context menu choices.
You can then control tab between the traffic and search windows.
While on the traffic window, you can also press alt C for the context
menu
to see your choices of songs on the download screen.
Okay, I really have to go, smile.
Good luck and don't get discouraged if you have trouble with the
scripts,
like I say I couldn't even get them to compile at first when I first got

them.
Oh and if you have a laptop and the alt C doesn't work for you I know
why
but I don't have time to fix it right now, but you can also use shift
f10 to
bring up the context menu. Shift f10 will work on both desktop and
laptops.
Oh and don't forget to maximize the program when it starts with alt
space
bar X. Also if you seem to loose focus, alt tab back to soulseek for
example after the message about the port.
Debbie
