Should be ok to purchase anyone's notebook as far as jaws goes; however,
it's always a good idea to purchase from a source that allows you to
return it without a financial penalty, for a full cash refund, if you're
not happy. Some sources charge you a 15% restocking fee, and one source
I know of will only give you a store credit.
Be sure to buy a notebook with integrated WIFI (that means a built-in
antenna, not a card with a nub sticking out of the side). WIFI is going
to be a necessary as a CD ROM drive in the future, and the cards with
nub antennas don't function nearly as well.
