Hello Gary and all,

Since a private individual can manage to assist, I am wondering why National
organisations dedicated to improving the lives of the blind are unable to do so?

Perhaps they have never been asked? Or, perhaps they have never been asked
enough times.

One request with a good idea, sent to the Helpline in such organisations, can
easily be lost, or considered unimportant. What would be the response, if
organisations received requests for a similar service, from many individuals on
a regular basis?

Even better, if there is anyone employed in such organisations on this list,
perhaps they could forward the idea from within. Such a service should not cost
too much, should it?

Paul Benson.

Dave,
Unfortunately, unless the situation has changed recently, there is no human
being at the end of the process. The gentleman who was doing the solving
became ill, and the service is not functioning. It would be worth checking
from time to time though to see if it becomes available again.

  Hina,

Go to the site and read all about it. There is a human being at the other end
of the process.
