Skype Question

A friend tells me that his friends can set up Skype so that the voice chat
plays through their headphones, while the games they play (such as World of
Warcraft) play their sounds through their speakers.
Is there any way to achieve this with JAWS and Skype, and if so, how would I
go about it? I'd love to hear my Skype voice chat in my headphones, and
JAWS and whatever music or TV show I'm watching just through the speakers.
Anyone know what's required?
