The demo version will run for 40 days, but during that time it will run
non-stop. The full version acting as a demo will run for only 40 minutes at
a time.

This is just a wild, and probably way off, guess, but it sounds like what
FS is trying to do is create two versions of the software--the registered
version and the demonstration version. What may make the file larger is
perhaps the inclusion of extra material that sort of sets that software so
it recognizes itself as the demo version. For instance, it may be set up in
a way such that some features, while blocked in the auth version unless you
have a disk for it, are available in the demo version as an add-on to the
evaluation. It makes sense why it wouldn't be available in the auth
version--it would see people more encouraged to actually purchase the
authorized version. I hope this makes sense minus the confusion.
