While in the list of files
1. Go to the top of the list.
2. press the control key
3. Holding down control, arrow to the files you want to select and press the spacebar.

As you go through the list, JAWS will say 'not selected'. When you press the spacebar the file is selected, so JAWS doesn't say 'not selected' as you read that files name. Hold down the control key till you're finished. You can use insert-shift-down arrow to read the list of what is selected.

Good luck!
