  You will need to create a script something like
  1 route jaws to PC
  2 say prev word
  3 PC cursor

  That's just off the top of my head then assign a keystroke to the script and 
it should be close to what you want and you can fine tune it.

    That doesn't do the trick, I'm afraid. That moves the cursor and Bob #1 
does not want to move the cursor.

        WANTED: Jaws function or script that says the word to the left of the 
cursor. There are many times when I'm typing that I would like to hear the word 
I just read without moving the cursor. I don't know how to do this with Jaws.
