I remember someone figuring out that he would spend $1,000. a year to keep up 
on adaptive software per year and this was back in the mid 90s. I think he was 
figuring on ZoomText, jaws, MSWord, and the Internet. Back then, we had to find 
alternative ways to read the internet, JAWS couldn't handle it and the Internet 
just wasn't accessible. Now, if I start to consider how many computers I have 
purchased and replaced in the last 10 years. I know no other business that is 
allowed to operate like the computer business; we are either upgrading software 
or hardware.

  You shell out $1300 for jfw pro & by the time a few years have gone by you 
  have spent hundreds more to keep up with the latest & so called greatest.

  Theoretically, you could end up paying $5000 just to have access to your PC.
