Just change your name to Zaheer van Winkle. that will really fool them.

It might be worthwhile to work out how an error like this might have appeared. If you figure it out, I imagine you could contact the website owners to make the correction. If they don't make it easy, let me know. I think something could be done about it.

Yes, list owner, this is a tangential JAWS service and we shouldn't extend this thread. But it's good that we know just how much information might be circulating around the Net about us, as this People Search reminds us. Curious that FS took on this responsibility. It isn't central to working with JAWS.

lol. I've been in coma for 14 years!

I'm sure its me. I live in Columbus, Ohio. my brother's name and date of birth are correct on this website, but It's not showing my correct age. Unless Jaws is not reading it correctly.

I wish that I could correct this error.

I couldn't resist. I take it you think you're the Columbus, Ohio resident. Ah well, you must be imagining it. Either that, or you've had a fourteen-year coma!!

I don't turn up on the JAWS version, although others with the same name do, but I make an abbreviated appearance at the link I provided. As you suggest, the information is just a starting point, if that.

Hmm,

I really like peaple search feature, but the information is not accurate. When I searched for myself, results showed that I'm 41 years old! I know that I'm 27 years old.

Several databases report this info and more for free. This People Search seems less inclusive than some. On another site, you can also learn the names of spouses and children, along with a past history of residences. Instead of a five-year age range, it has the age down to the year.

With the People Search database FS is using, I did find one address I hadn't elsewhere.

I speculate that mortgage records hide behind much of People Search's records. After a few experiments, I noticed that family and friends who have bought property in recent years turn up, while those who haven't tend not to. But that wouldn't seem to explain the occasional inclusion of people's age ranges.

List,

I was just curious... What is the data base that is being utilized to return the results? I am astounded that an age range often appears. I also notice that sometimes people are found even when they do not have phone numbers. Does anyone know where FS is finding the information?

Thanks in advance, Mark
