We tried last SPSS ver 14.0 with jfw7.0, it seems that the scripts are old
dated maybe back to 1999 we are unsure of that, switching between the two
windows was a bit of a problem but I must admit we do not master this
program very well lacking desparate sighted assistance.

Several years ago I used SPSS and it worked reasonably well, but I am not
sure what the current version is and how well JAWS is working with it.
I do see that there is an SPSS windows configuration in jaws so I suspect
it at least works somewhat.

I developed my own system of doing reverencing for articles, papers, and
other works. I tried EndNote as a reference tool and found that it caused
me some headaches so unloaded it. My university offers the use of The
reference tool you speak of, but my first attempts were unfavorable so I
stopped trying to use it. However, you may be using a different version
that may work well.

Subject: Reference Manager and SPSS with JAWS

has anyone used or heard of the programs SPSS or Reference Manager, and if
so, how accessible are they? these are programs I will be using in school
and I'm checking into their accessibility with JAWS. having a quick look on
the web, Reference Manager is said to be ". bibliographic software. It is an
Internet reference searcher, a database manager, and a bibliography
builder." as for SSPS, the definition I got for that is ". Statistical
Package for the Social Sciences: A software system for data management and
analysis. SPSS may be used for many univariate and multivariate statistical
analyses and has facilities for sorting and merging files and manipulating
data. SPSS can deal automatically with complex files." I've never used
either of these programs so I could be barking up the wrong tree. but if
anyone has used them and knows of their accessibility I would love to know.
