Select the stereo mix for the recording side and then go to playback
settings and unmute the mic.

Subject: Recording Jaws and microphone input
I'm trying to make a short tutorial for a friend and can't get my
microphone
and Jaws to record at the same time. I thought the procedure was to go
into
the volume utility of my Windows XP, navigate to the Record page, and
select
the checkbox for Stereo Mix. When I do that, all I get is Jaws, no
microphone. But when I select the mike, all I get is that, and no Jaws.
It
seems to me this has worked in the past. What am I doing wrong?
