Hi Grant, I'm using rbt40 with Jaws for years and currently with 5.0.
1. You can try to look in http://www.baum.de in their English version
for such a manual, although I don't remember I've seen any in the past.
If you have specific questions, ask me and I'll try to help.
2. I did not encounter the problem you described but please give more
details. Is your display connected through a com port or usb?
Mine is connected via com but I heard that newer displays have a usb
connection.
Recently, I do encounter a problem that my display freezes with no
reason in the middle of work. Just seems as losing connection with the
com port. In my case, the only solution so far is restart the computer.
I'll move my display to com2 to see if the problem is in the specific
com port.
I suggest you also write to the pbd-l list (braille displays mailing
list), you may get some feedback from there either.
Currently I don't remember the address of this list, but if you need it
I'll find it for you.
Thanks, Rafi.

Subject: Rabbit Questions

Hello:
I have two questions regarding a Rabbit (RBT) 40 Braille display with
JAWS:
1) My Rabbit 40 is installed with version 6. Anyone know where I can
find a current manual for that version?
2) Sometimes, when JAWS tries to detect the Braille display, the display
simply freezes and requires a power off before it works properly. Any
help would be appreciated. Grant To post a message to the list, send it
