Hi Roden, Here's a free tutorial for VB6: http://www.theopensourcery.com/vb01tut.htm I don't know of a free tutorial for VB.NET, but it wouldn't do you much good unless you had access to visual studio so you could program in it. I'm sure bookshare.org has some books on visual studio or vb.net if you're a member, and I bet RFB&D does also. hth, Chip Chip Orange Database Administrator Florida Public Service Commission Chip.Orange@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (850) 413-6314 (Any opinions expressed are solely those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of the Florida Public Service Commission.) ________________________________ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of INTRACOM Sent: Tuesday, September 27, 2005 6:37 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Questions about Visual Basic Importance: High Sensitivity: Confidential Honestly speaking, I don't know how to use it. There are many microsoft-operated news groups for all the different flavors of VB, but I don't know of any mailing lists specifically for it. Do you know if you want VBA, VB6, or VB.NET? If you don't know, and you just want to learn to program, I think you'd be served best by going after the latest and most advanced version, VB.NET. But, is there any site or any other group list about Visual Basic you know?
