Dear Ray, Oh my goodness, I was almost ready to upgrade to AVG 2011! That was till I read your message! I do not like that sort of thing. Wasn't there another anti virus program that did that once? A very bad marketing technique, to make you stick with a product! No, not a nice thing to do! Thanks for the warning! This list is a Great thing to me, I would like everyone to know! Thanks to all! Hello All:I was in a JAWS Tandem session with a client, attempting to help her remove AVG 2011. She's running JAWS 11 on a Windows Vista laptop. We simply cannot get AVG 2011 removed from her system. I went into control panel, then Programs and Features, arrowed down to the AVG 2011 icon and hit alt-f to go to the file menu, then, u for uninstall. The User Account Control came up, and we hit continue on it. The program did not uninstall.I went into msconfig and disabled the program at startup, then, after re-starting the computer, tried uninstalling AVG 2011 again. It still won't uninstall.Anyone have any ideas? Ray Campbell, Adaptive Technology Help Desk Technician The Chicago Lighthouse for People Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired 1850 W.
